The music duo Analogous was created three years ago when Silvia Matheus and  Thomas Miley got together to jam informally at SweetPea Studios in San Francisco. They loved the sounds they were making with analog instruments, the instruments that once were so familiar to both and that have always been part of their musical background.

Later they decided to act and revisit the rich organic textured and ambient domain of analog music by creating new works to perform live and in the studio.  

Analogous' music celebrates the fusion of styles - electroacoustic, electronic, ambient and noise by applying analog and digital technologies with bold and progressive approaches.  

Matheus and Miley both graduated with MFA degrees in electronic and computer music from Mills College, Oakland, California.
